I've Cried Myself a Swamp {2016} [sold]
Pulling from comic book and poetic interests, this series of screenprints explores solitude and human interaction. Through composition and relativity between the different prints, Meredith creates a stream of consciousness which works throughout the “panels.” By purposely using defected screens, scarred and burned by previous use, Meredith’s prints reflect a landscape of the mind. Meredith experiments with 'true storytelling,’ a form of abstract art, which consists of meaningful moments that don’t always have an obvious significance, cohesiveness, or climax. Pushing the boundaries of silkscreen prints, comics, and fine art, Meredith wants her works to intertwine and truly reflect the tangled complexities of the human experience.
